This is the time of year when we are traditionally looking forward to the New Year and in particular putting together plans for ourbusiness for 2009, which will be a challenging time for us all.
Below are some tips and questions I will be asking myself in the coming weeks to grow my business online over the next 12 months.
- 1 Stay positive and continue doing what you are succeeding in! read positive books and surround yourself with positive people
- 2 Are you networking online? Check out these register for free websites, www.businesswomenscafe.com , www.linkedin.com , www.everywoman.comI have made a concerted effort over the last 6 weeks to promote my web design company on several online networking websites and I have got new business from members by being an active member!
- 3 Participate in some of the online forums to heighten the my profile
- 4 Review/rewrite your business plan and don’t forget to include the plans for your website as well
- 5 Review my website - add new content, testimonials, new customer designs
- 6 Review who your target audience is
- 7 Could you provide more products/value added services?
- 8 Is there someone you can form a strategic alliance to further grow your business?
- 9 Start/continue to write blogs and link them to your website and add them to any website that will accept them
In these credit crunch times, more and more people are using online resources to find new suppliers and products and services, so make sure you have a presence on the internet and that people can find you.
Remember you have approximately 8 seconds to make a positive, trustworthy and quality impression when visitors come to your website.Do not lose the Visitor – Convert them into a Customer!
